About Family Court
Family Court is a state government office in Paterson, New Jersey. It is listed at 401 Grand St #1, Paterson, NJ 07505, which places it among the local businesses of Paterson that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
This group holds listings that did not fit cleanly into a food or drink category, mostly businesses that were pulled in alongside a restaurant in the same shopping plaza or that combine several kinds of service, such as a market with an attached clinic or a strip-mall unit that also does phone repair or tax preparation. The details here come from the public listing rather than a curated food write-up, so treat the category label loosely and check the business's own hours and services before visiting. Some of these are legitimate neighbors of the food businesses on this site, such as a nail salon or a laundromat in the same strip mall, while others are simply miscategorized on the source data and worth a quick call to confirm what they actually offer.
Hours are published for 5 days a week. On most of those days it is open 8:30 amβ4:15 pm. Note that it does not open on Saturday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. No phone number is listed for this business, so the Google Maps link on this page is the best route for directions and any contact details Google has on file. More information is available on its website, njcourts.gov.
Its Google rating stands at 1.9 out of 5 from 40 reviews, which is below average for the category; consider the recent reviews carefully before visiting.
Paterson is in New Jersey, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Paterson is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New Jersey's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

If you believe that the US justice system is in fact βjustβ, then you need to visit here and see just how unbelievably troubling it truly is! There is no justice happening here in any way, shape, or form. Itβs truly a circus of misinformation, lost cases, different information depending on who you speak to, cases that you are involved in and you have absolutely no idea what happened with a verdict! Many, many times! My divorce was here in 2007 even though I live in ocean county and my ex husband did as well and literally moved to Passaic county weeks before , but they didnβt follow the law and place it in ocean county after I asked at least 5 times with case law included. Waiting on a verdict from June and itβs now April. Once again they are not following the law and making my ex pay child support until the age of 19 as the law states. Laws are not applicable at this court house!

Every time I call I get the nicest, professional lady named Ivette, she is very professional, kind and such a lovely person to speak to. Her customer service is amazing. On the other hand I have been waiting for my divorce( which is mutual agreement) for 11 months. They should take every divorce that is easy like mine and set them aside and just process them since is mutual agreement

Filed divorce 18 months ago. Despite calling, emailing various people, I do not get a simple answer when my case will be hear. My lawyer is also trying, but nothing from this court. I understand covid pandemic has caused a lot delays, but please we need the court to work more hard to help out residents of this county.

I filed for my divorce in March of last yr. I understand Covid has changed a lot of procedures but the last time I received a call was in August. I was told that I would receive something in the mail by the 1st week of Nov and if i didn't to then call them.... Well it is now Jan and I have been calling since Nov. I've left numerous messages and have yet to be contacted. I've even left messages on the supervisors voice mails.. This is just outrageous now. Some needs to do their damn job.
